STELLAR SOMATICS
A healing arts practice rooted in astronomical astrology,
deep listening, ecological care, and play.
Healing arts
for healing artists as activists
I collaborate with healing artists and activists to create music and ritual through sound, movement, and writing — attuned to astronomical astrology and ecological care.
Stellar Somatics is an embodied practice of breath, sounding, movement, rest, and reflective writing for those seeking to deepen their devotion to their own rhythm, timing, and voice.
The practice offers a simple, scalable form of attunement that can be revisited as a brief check-in or as a fuller practice within day-to-day life.
Stellar Somatics may be experienced through:
- 1:1 Practice
75 minutes · sliding scale - Small Groups & Workshops
typically 2 hours · max 6 participants - Residencies & Immersions
weekends or multi-day explorations
This is not prediction.
It is participation.
Not defined by the story,
but participating in its evolution.
Not separate from life,
but an expression of it.
I use astronomical astrology as a living guide for rhythm — meeting the luminaries and personal planets in the present moment as invitations to listen beneath the stories and into our own timing.

From this orientation, collaboration becomes a shared practice — grounded in sound, movement, writing, and ecological listening.
We enter the astrological chart as a practice rather than a fixed interpretation. This allows the body to listen, digest, and respond.
Breath
Arriving in the body through breath and attention.
Sound
Attuning to personal resonance through voice, toning, mantra, laughter, and hum.
Movement
Finding rhythm through playful movement, asana, gesture, and embodied expression.
Rest
Settling into stillness, integration, and the body’s natural digestion of experience.
Reflection
Witnessing what is present through free writing and gathering what can be carried forward as medicine.
Bethany was the first person who read my chart where I noticed my mind and body fully understanding and surrendering to what was being guided. For years I hadn’t allowed myself to believe what was being read, but this time was different.
They explained with a gentleness, lightness, and directness that felt easy to grasp, and when it all sank in, there was a powerful physical sensation that rushed over me — lightning blanket squeeze.
They held my hand from afar for weeks after as my curious mind raced through questions of what it all meant. I have made some bold and somewhat challenging decisions career-wise, informed by what came up — something I might have prolonged otherwise.
On my spiritual path, it instilled the courage to trust my questing spirit. As I enter a long retreat abroad, I remember the reading, and it fills me with happiness to be reminded of what I already knew.

Who This Is For
This work may resonate with artists, caregivers, parents, teachers, activists, healers, mystics, writers, musicians, and sensitive earthlings longing to bring their voice, body, feeling, and relational life into greater coherence.
You do not need to identify as an artist, healer, or activist to enter this work. You only need a willingness to explore your own sense of nowness as an embodied practice.
Here, activism is not limited to public action. It can also mean the disciplined act of listening, tending, creating, repairing, nourishing, and becoming more coherent in our sense of self so we can participate more consciously in the collective field.

Cosmology
Healing is relational. Communication is ecological. The sky is part of the living field through which we come to know ourselves.

Practice
The astronomical astrological chart expressed through breath, sound, movement, rest, and reflection — a relational inquiry into who we are and how our sense of self and relation continues to evolve.

Purpose
We listen to the rhythm of the spheres so we can better hear the body, the voice, and the wider relational field of earthling and cosmic kin.
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful practice with me! Your calm and attentive presence was exactly what I needed. The movements and prompts were very grounding and helped me get out of my head so I could connect with my body and remind myself that lightness and play are available to me. I left with a burst of creative energy that propelled me into the rest of my day, as well as new tools to explore when I’m feeling stuck mentally or physically.
